I`ve learned to feel uncomfortable because at the end of the day, when you feel uncomfortable, it means you`re learning and growing. My team and mentor were always supportive and willing to sit down with me and go into details. I was part of the Builder Products team, which works primarily with in-house infrastructure tools. From day one, I felt like a member of the team (not just an intern), and everyone encouraged me to ask questions and participate. As a scientific intern, you`ll be at the forefront of our data-driven machine learning solutions. Your research and work will help our community of millions create even more memorable moments together.

You`ll work in one of these areas: Natural Language Processing (NLP), Recommendations, Semantic Research, Classification/Categorization, Anomaly Detection, Prediction and Security, and HMI/Social Computing. Twitch respects your privacy. Please read our Applicant Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, use and disclose our candidates` personal information. Twitch`s close-knit community is reflected in the internship program. I loved meeting other people in my cohort. It`s been nine months since I joined Twitch full-time, and I`m still sitting down with friends from my cohort talking about the experiences we`ve shared as interns and colleagues. With over a decade of experience working with students, Tom is passionate about helping students find their purpose. You can`t complete a quest without proper preparation and some sound advice. We wanted to incorporate this into our products and let our developers choose colors to customize UI elements that represent their channel and identity. Giving users the freedom to choose colors is a challenge: how do we make sure the colors we choose are clearly visible? Face-to-face interviews are two 60-minute interviews consisting of a short behavioural portion followed by a 40- to 50-minute technical interview question. Internship candidates interview a member of a team hosting an intern the following summer, but do not necessarily have to join that person`s team. This means that all interviewers will ask similar technical questions and be able to answer questions about internship life on Twitch. To learn more about training opportunities, visit our Onramp! Plus, this is our chance to get to know you beyond your resume, and your chance to get to know us is just as important. So ask questions about our company culture and program. Whether you are a law or science articling student, you will be supported every step of the way by a mentor and a supportive manager. You`ll also work with a cohort of your peers, research teaching lessons, and participate in leadership interviews. The questions range from technical to behavioral so your teammates can better understand your experiences, potential, and values.

This is your interview just like ours, so be prepared to ask questions about the role, day-to-day tasks, and culture of the team and company.
